Refund Policy
This policy explains how cancellation and refund requests are handled for Ideate subscriptions.
Effective date: May 1, 2026

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how cancellation and refund requests are handled for Ideate subscriptions.
Ideate offers a free plan so you can try the product before choosing a paid subscription. Paid subscriptions can be cancelled to stop future renewal.
Refund requests are handled under this policy and any rules that apply through the relevant payment, merchant-of-record, billing, app store, or licensing provider.
2. Free plan
The Free plan has no subscription charge, so there is no payment to refund for Free plan use.
3. Subscriptions
Paid Ideate plans may renew automatically until cancelled. Subscription terms, billing intervals, renewal terms, taxes, and provider-specific rules may be shown on the website, at checkout, or in the billing flow.
4. First purchase refund window
If you are not satisfied with your first paid Ideate subscription purchase, contact support@ideatehome.com within 14 days of the purchase and include the account email used for the purchase.
Ideate generally reviews first-purchase refund requests made within this window favorably, unless there is evidence of fraud, abuse, policy violation, chargeback activity, repeated refund misuse, provider restriction, or another issue that prevents or limits the refund.
5. Renewals
Renewal refunds are handled case by case.
If you did not intend to renew, contact support@ideatehome.com as soon as practical after the renewal charge and include the account email used for the purchase.
6. Cancellations
Cancelling a paid subscription stops future renewal unless the billing provider states otherwise.
Cancellation does not automatically refund charges that already occurred. Paid access may continue until the end of the current billing period unless the payment, billing, merchant-of-record, app store, or licensing provider handles it differently.
7. Taxes, fees, and provider rules
Taxes, currency conversion, processing fees, payment method rules, app store rules, merchant-of-record rules, licensing rules, and payment provider policies may affect whether a refund is available, how it is processed, and how long it takes to appear.
Refunds are usually returned through the original payment method when possible.
8. Abuse, fraud, and chargebacks
Refunds may be denied, limited, or reversed where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, policy violations, unauthorized resale, account sharing, chargeback activity, or repeated refund misuse.
Chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of paid access while the issue is reviewed.
9. Contact
For refund or billing questions, email support@ideatehome.com and include the account email used for the purchase.
